Dr. Ahmet Cüneyt AKGÖL
He was born in 1971 in Ankara. He completed his undergraduate (1994), graduate (1998) and doctorate (2016) studies at Hacettepe University in Ankara. He started his academic career as a research assistant at Hacettepe University in 1995. He left the academy for clinical studies in 1999. While working as a health professional, he made many training programs and projects for public health with non-governmental organizations and private companies. He established and operated units within his own or corporate clinics in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. He gave lectures in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation undergraduate programs of many different universities in Istanbul, either externally or on a permanent basis. He has been a faculty member at Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Health Sciences for the last seven years and had been the head of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation department for six years. He has been continuing his Occupational Health and Safety undergraduate program at Istanbul University Open and Distance Education Faculty for three years. His primary interests as a physiotherapist are musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, industrial physiotherapy, clinical decision making, measurement and evaluation, movement-based treatments, orthopedic rehabilitation and preventive rehabilitation. He conducts field and training studies for musculoskeletal and ergonomic risks for workers who work based on body strength, especially in corporate companies that employ 50 or more workers in the fields of automotive, manufacturing and logistics.
