Cavide Balki GEMIRTER
C. Balkı Gemirter has been a senior manager & architect at Turk Economy Bank (BNPP joint venture) since 2013. She has 15+ years of experience in end-to-end architectural design and full-stack software development in several programming languages and manages a team of 10 computer & electronic engineers. She owns several research & development projects supported by TÜBİTAK (Research Council of Turkey) in the banking/finance domain related to AI topics. She was a senior software design engineer at NORTEL Networks between 2007 and 2013.
She is a Ph.D. student at Yeditepe University Computer Engineering Department, received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Ege University in 2007 and M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Yeditepe University in 2020.
Her research area is artificial intelligence, especially deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision subdomains.
